"Come Dine with Me" Swansea, Karen Perry TV Episode 2007

This song was nominated for a 2010 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song - Children's and Animation. It lost to "A Fiddler Crab Am I" from The Wonder Pets. It's the penultimate day of the culinary comp in Swansea. And today it's the turn of first class air hostess Karen Perry, who is hoping that her stylish salmon bake with chilli, lime and ginger will see her flying off with that prize. Perry the Platypus in the Phineas and Ferb episode "Oh, there you are, Perry!". The song for that episode is actually called "Come Home Perry".

Phineas and Ferb begin to worry about him being gone because he wasn't there for breakfast, and they say he never misses breakfast. The entire Tri-State Area sings the song, even though Isabella, Baljeet, Buford, Jeremy, and the Flynn-Fletcher family are the only ones who know who Perry is and sings in the song. They are playing on a roof, an homage to the last live performance of the Beatles. Done with a twist in The Brave Little Toaster, in which the "pets" are household appliances. Storyline

Dr. Doofenshmirtz, wearing a towel around his waist, reads a card attached to a gift basket, sent from The Agency to say that he has been downgraded to a minor threat thanks to the Regurgitator. This angers Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and he goes on his computer to research more about this "Regurgitator". Deciding to go back to being a major threat, Doofenshmirtz opts to confront the Regurgitator himself. When everyone hugs Perry, Ferb's outfit changes to Baljeet's, except the overalls are the same color of Ferb's pants. This occurs from when Katie grabs Baljeet until they walk off-screen.

On one side, the pet is incredibly lost, scared, and desperately trying to get home. The second story will involve the humans dealing with the loss of their pet, either by feeling miserable or by actively searching for them. In the end, the two parties will eventually reunite, often leading to a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming and maybe even An Aesop or two.

This song sounds quite similar to "A-G-L-E-T" ("Tip of the Day"). One of the street performers and one of the backup singers that sang "S.I.M.P. " can be seen in the crowd. This song has all of the band members from Phineas and the Ferb-Tones, the Baljeatles and Aglet Aid though it is not a song by any of them.

With Dr. Doofenshmirtz reduced to a minor threat level, Perry the Platypus is reassigned and forced to move to the Quad-state area with a new family and battle a new villain, the Regurgitator. When they learn their beloved platypus is missing, Phineas, Ferb, and a guilt-ridden Candace put in every effort to find him, hoping he'll return to them. Perry helps Dr. Doofenshmirtz realize that he wants to be the main villain, not some intern. He tells the Regurgitator that he has had enough, listing all the things he's done. He also installed an activated self-destruct sequencer and an escape switch inside Perry's trap, as well as a pair of rocket boots.

As it turns out, Doofenshmirtz has been downgraded to a low-level threat and Perry has been reassigned to a more dangerous villain and a new family. Perry goes over to Ferb's bed, but receives a signal saying "Code Red" on his spy watch. When Ferb realizes that Perry is gone, Perry replaces himself with a log to reassure him. Perry then goes downstairs to enter his lair, but meets Candace on the way, who hasn't been able to sleep after eating a peach and pumpernickel sandwich. He reverts to his domestic house-pet disguise as Candace trips over him. She throws him outside, angrily saying "For an animal that doesn't do much, you sure know how to make a mess of things!" Major Monogram also tells Perry that he would also be assigned to a new family in the area as well. This doesn't suit Perry very well, realizing that he would have to leave the boys. When Phineas and Ferb think Perry is lost, they use the power of music to find him. Meanwhile, Candace, who fears she is at fault for Perry's disappearance, combs the Tri-State area to find him. As it turns out, Doofenshmirtz has been downgraded to a low-level threat and Perry has been reassigned to a more dangerous villain, and a new family. When the song "Come Home Perry" ends, Phineas and his friends see Perry, run up to him and hug their missing pet in the very same fashion as the ending of Snoopy, Come Home.

He also confesses that he plans to destroys Perry, which angers Heinz. Phineas and Ferb create a device to summon all of the platypuses in the Tri-State Area, so they will be able to find Perry. However, after they use it, they find out that there are many more platypuses then they thought. Meanwhile, in the morning, Phineas and Ferb talk to Candace about Perry, telling her that he is gone. Candace begins to feel guilty but does not tell them that she put him outside. Perry watches Phineas mourning his loss through the window, then flies off.
